This practical training day is hosted at Algeos HQ in Liverpool and is ideal for podiatrists, physiotherapists, FCPs, chiropractors, sports therapists, and students looking to build on their theoretical knowledge with real-world, hands-on experience.
Whether you're new to orthotic therapy or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers practical support to help you deliver more effective, individualised treatment plans.
You'll recieve pre-workshop materials, including an introductory webinar and selected academic reading. During the session, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of foot function, orthotic prescription principles, and how to modify and fit chairside orthoses with clarity and confidence. You’ll also explore the importance of patient-centred care and shared decision-making when prescribing orthoses for common MSK presentations such as heel pain, forefoot discomfort, arch strain, and more.
